Man and his behavior and interaction in time and space are the cores of my art. With my work I try to express the intuitive, the primitive of our self, the magic of fantasy, and the joie de vivre.
I enjoy telling stories, and these often express existential and socially critical questions. Sometimes I accentuate ordinary situations in order to emphasize the fact that even the merest details of everyday life can be essential.
Working with various techniques and materials is of importance to me as it gives me ample opportunity to expand myself while making use of the different effects originating from the various techniques. For me the fascination of artistic work lies in the very process of creation, that is why my works strongly bear the stamp of the particular technique and the material I use and why the original idea undergoes several metamorphosis.
